Structure of NAMMCO
NAMMCO comprises member countries which have representation through the Council. Advice on research needs and management currently comes through three main Channels: a Scientific Committee and two Management Committees - one dealing with all whales and the other with seals and walruses. Each of these committees can appoint working groups to investigate special issues. In addition there are Committees on Finance and Administration and also on Hunting Methods and on Observation and Inspection. Council is served by a Secretariat. Additional information is provided below on these items and on the text of the Agreement.
