The NAMMCO Scientific Committee Working Group on Walrus met 11-14 January 2005 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The NAMMCO Scientific Committee Working Group on Walrus met 11-14 January in Copenhagen, Denmark. Scientists from the Faroe Islands, Norway, Greenland, Denmark, the Russian Federation, Canada and the United States participated in the meeting. The main task was to assess the status of walrus stocks across the North Atlantic, including Canada, West and East Greenland, Svalbard and the Russian Federation.
